Age: Fourty-Three Moons
Gender: Female
Clan: Bloodclan
Rank: Leader
Personality:
A cat who breaks the stereotypical 'Bloodclan cats are pure evil' mold, Cinq is more of an antihero or antivillain in nature. She is highly intelligent, and is a brilliant politician by nature, easily able to navigate social situations with ease and eloquence. With that nature also comes with the trait of being charismatic. Cats are more inspired to follow under her leadership. She is cool-headed and calm, and it is not often that she loses her temper. She is a thinker through and through and has an unusual love of strategic warfare. Cinq has a strong air of sophistication about her as well, lending to her debonair facade. She is confident, yes, but do not make the mistake of thinking her to be overly so. She is well aware of her limits.Description:
On the flip side, she is a rather callous soul from her harsh upbringing. She rarely feels pity for the weak, often thinking of their weakness as their own failings. She never flinches when confronted with the deaths of those around her, though she may mourn those who were close. She is a ruthless enemy, prone to being vindictive, not easily forgetting any slights or insults from others. Cinq is a cold and cynical heart, and finds it hard to trust others easily. She is manipulative, and likes to only pursue ventures that will end well for her. She is somewhat paranoid, and often is very suspicious of the intentions of others.
Overall, she is rather morally gray, not being a blood-thirsty, half-insane murderer with the blood of her kin on her paws, that kills for no reason whatsoever. However, she is not the most sympathetic persona, as she is most definitely far from being an angel. She is a hardened, steely she-cat, and anyone who thinks otherwise will soon learn the error of their ways. Despite her relative calmness, she is rather cruel in her dealings with clan cats, and is especially ill-disposed towards them.
If one were to stand before her, she'd be a fairly formidable sight. Tall and lean in frame, she is bigger than the average she-cat, standing more on par with toms. She is quite wiry, her muscles compact from years of life on the streets with Bloodclan. She has a deadly grace, one that belongs to dangerous predators and warriors. Her legs provide a good deal of her height, and they provide her with agility, allowing herself to move with speed and flexibility, covering distance more easily than a cat with shorter limbs. She has a stalking sort of gait, imparting on it the edgy elegance that belongs to predators such as herself.Clan Page Description:
Her eyes are not particularly uncommon to her species, though the exactness of their shade is rather unusual. She has pale gray eyes, the color of polished steel. There is not the slightest hint of another color, though her pupils are as black as any other feline's. They have a certain strength to them, a sharp fortitude on par with the intensity of an eagle's gaze. Cinq's eyes are often said to bore into one, cutting them down even before they could summon the nerve to fight.
Her pelt is made of fine, soft blue-gray hairs, short and sleek. The fact that she is neither a common tabby, and the solidness of her coat hue seem to make her into some soft, purebred kittypet. That is, if it weren't for the the large scar on her face, starting from just under her left eye, to the bottom of her jaw. Fur has not grown over the thing since she was injured, and doubtless it will never cover the mark.
Cinq Signature
Lean blue-gray she-cat with light gray eyes.History:
Cinq, like many other members of Bloodclan, was born into it, conceived during the climax of an on-and-off relationship between a handsome charmer and a naive kittypet. While most relationships of this sort would have ended with the she-cat giving birth to her kittypet children in the safety of the home of her twolegs, the twit was foolish enough to believe that Stone, the male, would care for her and her kits, completely oblivious to the laws of Bloodclan. And so she abandoned her twolegs, taking to the streets to seek Stone. She had just joined when her inquiries as to the whereabouts of Stone were answered by a friend of his telling her he was dead, when in fact, he was simply uninterested in dealing with the she-cat whom he had impregnated.
Distraught at his supposed death, and inspired by the supposed reason for his death (which was, in the line of defense for his clan), she stayed, only learning the truth about the nature of her newfound 'friends' a couple of months later. She had just given birth to her litter -- three living and one stillborn. However, one of the three, a runt, had deformed legs. Desperate for help, she took the small tom in question before the leader at the time, hoping that they would assist her in bringing the kit to a twoleg home. Instead, they simply snapped the poor thing's neck, killing him instantly before his horrified mother's eyes, with the only explanation offered being that the weak did not belong in Bloodclan, and that he was too shameful of a kit to be allowed to live.
Terrified for her and her two remaining kits' lives, she lived quietly in fear under the iron grip of the high ranking cats of Bloodclan, seeking comfort in her children. The she-cat Mimi was mother to Cinq and Yves. Yves was soft-hearted, displaying his empathy for others early on, often crying upon seeing death in any form, and keeping to his mother's teat, preferring her comfort and safety. Cinq, however, was the opposite of her brother, a strong, bold kit from the very start, always pushing over her sibling in her newborn days, in search of milk. She was dominant over him from the beginning. She was at all times, a bully, a friend, and his sister. She defended him, and later on, as she grew, her mother.
When their twelve moons with their mother had passed, Cinq was all too eager to leave her, though her brother adamantly refused, deciding to take the risk and stay with their aging parent. She scorned them, leaving the very morning of her twelfth moon of life. She learned shortly after that Yves and Mimi had been slaughtered, yet another pair of victims of Bloodclan's laws. Saddened, she continued, as she had already been expecting the news and had already prepared herself, reasoning that if they already refused to listen to her, than there had been no way to save them.
The years passed, and she began to gain notoriety among the streets as a formidable enemy. It was inevitable that she eventually caught the attention of Dusty, her brother's killer and the leader of Bloodclan. He attempted to make romantic overtures to her, and began to grow frustrated when she flatly refused to associate with him, despite her love for her 'clan'. After all, even she had her limits in dismissing the death of Yves and the unnamed brother that Mimi had occasionally mentioned in passing. Angered by her constant rejections, he eventually tried to attack her one night, which resulted in his death, after a prolonged battle.
With that, Dusty's former followers began to back Cinq, slightly awed and intimidated by her battle prowess. She rose to power in her thirty-fifth moon, becoming the latest in a short, bloody line of Bloodclan leaders.
