Personality:

Brightstar is a warm, loving cat who adores her clan greatly. Although this can be a fault, because even when her clan is the wrong she tends to over look it or make excuses for their actions. She sometimes also feels doubt in herself, and has many insecurities. This may be due to the fact that being a young leader takes a lot from her and makes her nervous. Although she would never voice these thoughts to any of her clan mates as she wouldn't want them to have worries, or view her as weak. Although she is still considered a young cat, she is very mature for her age, and knows how to be a good leader despite some disadvantages.

Description:

Brightstar is a small, ginger and white she-cat with amber eyes. She is a short hair cat with tabby markings on the ginger patches of her fur. She's got a thin, and slender body like most cats in her clan. This type of build makes it easy for them to climb trees, and hunt their usual prey; birds. So being of small stature is not unusual as it runs in her clan's genes.

History:

Brightstar never got the chance to know her parents as a kit, as her mother died during labor and her father had died in a battle when her mother was pregnant with her. She never had siblings either, being the only kit in the litter. Although this was a drawback in life, it has shaped who she is for the better. Another queen at the time, Birdsong, had offered to nurse her and quickly became her adoptive mother and Birdsong's kits had become like siblings to her. Through out her apprenticeship she was trained by the clan's deputy, Jayflight. She was a quick learner, and very serious about her training and easily became a warrior, earning her the name Brightfeather. After the previous leader died, Jayflight became Jaystar and named Brightfeather as his deputy. Although many were outraged by this, Jaystar saw her potential and Brightfeather quickly proved herself worthy of the position. Many moons later to much shock of the clan, Jaystar abandoned them and became a loner as the stress of leadership was too much for him to bear. This left Brightfeather to become Brightstar, a young and inexperienced leader. Though, just like any other hardship in life, she was willing to prove herself strong and capable.
