Likes:Description:
`she-cats: He's quite the lover, and he's very affectionate to females he knows well. He's also mockingly promiscuous with all she-cats, being tempting and masculine.
`fighting: Sundance loves to fight; it's one of his favorite past times. When he was younger, he'd start a fight with any adolescent feline that crossed his path. He always fights with his claws unsheathed.
`kit scent: Though he despises the sounds and responsibility of kits, he regretfully admits that he enjoys the warm, milky scent that shrouds them.
`tearing things up: Hearing his claws rip through flesh and other things gives him an intense satisfaction.
`the sound of moving water: Another one of his almost secretive likes. As a kit he'd sit and watch the river flow. The musical waves lulled him to sleep.
Dislikes:
`kits: Sundance is beyond annoyed by the piteous mewlings of the helpless creatures.
`losing: He has lost only a few of his numerous fights during his lifetimes. Every loss burns at the back of his mind, but thankfully they force him to be better.
`being praised: This one is probably his father's fault. The brute never told Sundance that he'd done a good job. So as a result, he loathes when he is congratulated or praised about anything. Because he believes that if anyone can, then his father should have been the one to do it.
`boredom: He is rarely lazy. He always has to be doing something with his paws or tail. Sundance almost shows minor symptoms of attention deficit disorder.
`vomit: The putrid stench of vomit leaves him nauseated and light-headed, nearly blowing chunks himself.
General:
`Rude- Sundance is just an impolite creature. He is disrespectful to almost every cat unless it's one he wants to get close to.
`Observant- Although the brute acts as if nothing bothers him, he tends to pick up on the smallest of details, even in his peripheral. He uses these acute senses to his advantage when fighting and meeting new cats.
`Cunning- Sundance is very intelligent, and regularly flaunts his brains to others, just to be a show off. He uses the resources he has been presented with.
`Honest- Well, probably more blunt than honest. He speaks his mind, even if it isn't such a positive thought. He doesn't have a problem with hurting a cat's feeling.
`Sensual- He remembers some of the females he's been with on the amount of physical touch they shared. Sundance is a very physical cat, he likes to feel close to cats, but routinely pushes them away because of his commitment issues.
`Vulgar- Some of Sundance's thoughts and acts are particularly obscene. He probably learned that from his father, but then again, every cat is entitled to his own life. No need to blame everything on Papa's incompetent raising.
Different shades of orange spliced into tiger-like stripes down his shaggy-haired bodice and white splotches streaking down his underbelly. Beautiful golden orbs with a greenish circle radiating from the pupil. Tone muscles elegantly ripple beneath the inferno. White whiskers spring in all directions from different positions on his face; above the eyes, on either side of the nose, and from the cheeks. These keep him form bumping into things. Sundance owns a pleasant pink nose. The hairs that keep unwanted particles out of his ears are a lighter orange color, and darker tufts sprout from both of his ears. The whitewash begins right above his eyes, over his muzzle, down his chest, and continuing along his underbelly. The white almost forms a collar around his neck. He also his white socks on all four of his paws. The ginger coloring randomly shows up again on his elbows and knees.Clan Page Description:
Large, ginger tabby tom with amber eyesHistory:
''KIT LIFE;; They never knew exactly how the kit got his odd coloring. His siblings had no such markings, and neither did their parents. Crowkit was a very dark grey kit with beautiful blue eyes, Molekit had a dirt-brown tabby pelt and green eyes. Father was rarely seen, but he was a dark tabby tom with a fierce blue-green gaze. Their mother, Spottedpelt was the only proof of Sunkit's traits. She was calico, but with hardly any ginger splashed onto her coat. Her eyes were the exact color of his, an obvious sign of his birth-mother. Sunkit always felt so left out. He was the largest kit of the litter, but only his mother gave him much attention. Crowkit and Molekit would play with him, but would pass him up in a moment for the chance to play with the other kits. Speaking of the kits Sunkit and his littermates shared the Nursery Den with, they teased him, along with the -paws, about being so different from his brother, sister, and father. So Sunkit spent a large chunk of his first 6 moons with his mother, even after his siblings ventured away.
''APPRENTICE;; Once the young ginger tom was given the name Sunpaw, his close connection with his mother was injured. The transition into the apprentice smashed his self-esteem further into the dust. For one, his father loved Crowpaw and Molepaw quite openly. He praised and shared tongues with his kits. It was like Sunpaw didn't matter, like he wasn't Thrushtail's son. That hurt Sunpaw like nothing else. And another thing, the apprentices just got more mean and pushy in the enclosed space, away from adult eyes. Every night, young Sunpaw curled up in the far corner of the den and shivered until morning. The only other cat besides his mother that understood and talked to him about the situation was his mentor, Tornear. This was a large, white tom with a ginger mask and tail. He would ask Sunpaw about it during training sessions, forcing the apprentice to multitask. He became very perceptive through this process, and he discovered how angry he was about the situation. Nearing the end of his apprenticeship, his mother was brutally murdered by a group of passing rogues. Sunpaw mourned her death and swore to avenge her untimely departure.
''WARRIOR;; In the weeks following his warrior ceremony, the ginger tom was randomly informed that Thrushtail wasn't his father. This didn't exactly bother him. He was exactly a bit relieved. He was furious with his mother, or maybe the fact that he couldn't come to her about it. It turned out that Tornear was his biological father(and ironically the only father figure he had in his mind) and his biological mother died during labor. Tornear and Sundance's mother(the only mother he registered) were brother and sister from two separate litters. With Spottedpelt just hours away from kitting, Tornear had brought a tiny bundle of ginger to his younger sister, pleading for her to raise his only son. Sundance was never supposed to unearth the secret. After the truth was branded into his mind, he became angry. Angry at the she-cat who raised him, at the father he thought he should have had, at Tornear for not telling him. He has not spoken to his biological father since, even though there are millions of questions racing through his mind. Sundance got the priviledge of training an apprentice at the age of 22 moons. He tried his very best to teach the young cat in the way of the clans. His apprentice was made into a warrior when Sundance was but 29 moons. He sometimes catches his father giving him side-long glances, but Sundance just turns his head and ignores him.
"DEPUTY;; Despite the discovery of his past, the ShadowClan leader took a liking to the ginger warrior. His fierceness in battle made him a wonderful canidate for the second-in-command position after her deputy passed. There were so many more experienced warriors that she could have, perhaps should have, chosen. Nevertheless, she had made her final decision. Even though Sundance was somewhat young to become a deputy, he accepted the position gratefully. His leader felt empathy for the tom and his difficulties, but wouldn't dare speak those thoughts aloud. She had been the leader of ShadowClan since Sundance was an apprentice, so she naturally commanded great respect among her Clan. He has only stood by her side for about two and a half moons, so he has much to learn from her. He began shaping up his act and becoming more responsible for his actions. He was determined to make the best out of his fortune.
